South Jakarta Nakertrans Holds Cooking Class at Akasia RPTRA

South Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration (Nakertrans) Sub-department holds cooking class at Akasia Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Jalan Tebet Barat Raya, Tebet, Monday (3/18).

We will monitor them continuously until they can run their own business

There are 50 people who participate in this training. According to South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Isnawa Adji, participants are trained to make traditional snacks and how to sell their products online.

"South Jakarta Government, through sub-departments, sub-districts, and urban villages have a great role in promoting coached merchants' products. We will monitor them continuously until they can run their own business," he explained, Monday (3/18).

South Jakarta Nakertrans Sub-department Head, Sudrajat stated, this training is held for five days. Participants who have been trained will also get cooking equipment to start their business.

"After they become independent in running their business, we will order some of their products for our consumption in every meeting.

One of participant, Lukita Sari, resident of RW 10 Tebet Barat Urban Village conveyed, this training really helps her to train her cooking skill especially that relates to traditional snack recipes. In addition to cooking, her side is also taught how to sell products online.

" I want to tell my friends and neighbors about recipes and its marketing," she expressed.
