42 People Joined PKT Program's Fashion Class

I want to be good at sewing then immediately open sewing service at home

Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT)'s fashion class is held at Kenanga Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Gambir Urban Village, Central Jakarta. This class is participated by 42 people who want to learn how to sew and make clothes.

"I want to be good at sewing then immediately open sewing service at home," said a participant named Nana, resident of Petojo Utara Urban Village, Wednesday (3/13).

PKT Program, 40 Duri Pulo Residents Joined Culinary Class

According to her, training method in this class is easy to understand. Participants learn the theory and apply it immediately. Starting from measuring the fabric, making patterns, and operating sewing machines.

Other participant, Husep Suryana, Petojo Selatan resident also mentioned his purpose of joining this class is to open sewing service at home.

"Hopefully I can be facilitated to get capital," he added.

For information, PKT is held in Melati Duri Pulo RPTRA, Tanah Abang 3 RPTRA, Kenanga RPTRA, and Kejora RPTRA in Gambir Sub-district. There are four classes: culinary, fashion, handicraft, and soap making. These classes are held for four days from 9 AM-3 PM.
