Thousand Island Industry and Energy (PE) Sub-department decorates a park located in front of Harapan Island Urban Village office, North Thousand Islands, called Taman Menunggu Dirimu by installing colorful decorative lights.
These lights will surely make this spot be more beautiful and also help us to monitor their activities at the park
Thousand Island PE Sub-department Head, Melinda Sagala conveyed, this location is popular as selfie spot in Harapan Island. Thus her side installs spotlights and colorful lights to make this place look more beautiful at night.
"We install various of decorative lights because people often visit this place at night. These lights will surely make this spot to be more beautiful and also help us to monitor their activities at the park," she said, Monday (4/1).
Together with Locals, Thousand Island Regency Improves Islands' Tourism PotentialsHarapan Island Urban Village Secretary, Irfan Damanhuri mentioned, this park is always crowded by visitors after Thousand Island Regent inaugurated it.
For security purpose, his side cooperates with Harapan Island Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) to install tourism information center in front of the park thus his side can be easier to monitor park visitors.
"We also asked related UKPD to install decorative lights to brighten and beautify the area," he explained.
