3,500 New Entrepreneurs Targeted to Be Realized This Year

This year, Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration (Nakertrans) Department is targeting to produce 3,500 new entrepreneurs from Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) program.

We will facilitate people who have the desire to succeed by starting their own businesses or getting jobs

Jakarta Nakertrans Department Head, Andry Yansyah conveyed, there are 2,745 people who have registered in PKT programs during January-March 2019 period. 650 of them have entered training phase or P2 level.

"There are 86 mentors in total. We deploy 2 mentors in each sub-district to assist the PKT members and socialize PKT programs to the residents," he explained, Thursday (4/4).

Disnakertrans Provides Trainings to Cipinang Penitentiary's Inmates

According to him, Nakertrans Department cooperates with Industry and Energy (PE) Department to facilitate PKT members in order to register their brands and obtain halal certification for their products.

"We will facilitate people who have the desire to succeed by starting their own businesses or getting jobs. It is our duty," he stated.
