Food Security Regulation Draft to Be Finalized Soon

Jakarta Secretary Assistance for Economy and Finance, Sri Haryati is still reviewing articles on regulation draft (Raperda) regarding Food Security with help from Jakarta Council (DPRD) Regulation Forming Agency (Bapemperda).

The draft will soon be finalized

"The draft will soon be finalized. After that, Bapemperda will be informed," she said at City Hall, Thursday (4/25).

According to her, this Raperda regulates about food supply distribution, food security and farming contract with other regions outside of Jakarta.

"We should finish this Raperda by this year," she asserted.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Department Head, Darjamuni said, after ratification, this regulation can support all legal contracts regarding food supply in Jakarta.

"This Raperda can be used to regulate an d solve all problems that relates with food supply," he mentioned.
