Commemorating International Labor Day or May Day, Central Jakarta Government distributes 209 worker cards to the workers in four private companies in the region, Wednesday (5/1).

Central Jakarta Mayor, Bayu Meghantara together with Central Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-department Head, Fidiyah Rokhim gave worker cards symbolically to 30 workers at Education Sub-department Region 1 Office's Meeting Hall, Central Jakarta. While the other worker cards were also distributed on the same day.

Sutisiani (23), one of the workers, feels grateful to have this card since it can reduce her spending.
"It has so many benefits. We can get free rides when using Transjakarta bus and get cheap price for staple food," she expressed.
