City Opens Staple Food Bazaars Twelve Times during Ramadan

The Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Agency is opening staple food bazaars during Ramadan. It will take place twelve times.

The buyer is very enthusiastic as our price is cheaper up to 50 percent compared to market prices

It is slated to be held in five cities and Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Agency office. Various needs sold such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, wheat flour, beef, chicken meat, eggs, red onions, garlic, red chili and processed products from fisheries, livestock, and agriculture.

"It aims to stabilize food prices and lighten citizens' burden to meet their needs at affordable prices," disclosed Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Agency Head, Darjamuni, Monday (5/6).

As for the information, on May 2-3, the similar activity had been opened at the Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Agency office.

"The buyer is very enthusiastic as our price is cheaper up to 50 percent compared to market prices," he stated.
