1,696 Free Homecoming Registrants in South Jakarta Have Been Verified

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-department (Sudinhub) has verified 1,696 registrants of free homecoming program.

Jakartans who are interested to join this program can register via website at https://mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id. Registration is still opened until the quota is fulfilled. People who participate in this program will be departed from Monas on May 30.

South Jakarta Sudinhub Head, Christianto mentioned, his side needs 5 days to verify registrants data. There are 1,696 registrants' data that have been verified during April 15-May 6. Most of them choose Jogjakarta as their destination with total 465 people.

City Provides Free Homecoming Program for Jakartans

"We open special office on Jalan MT. Haryono Pancoran from 7 AM to 3 PM to help about verification issues. South Jakartans who are interested can register directly via online. But, they should have KTP and family card (KK) according to their address in South Jakarta," he informed, Tuesday (5/7).

South Jakarta Sudinhub Road Transportation Section Head, Afrinda explained, South Jakarta has quota 16,578 people and 7,020 motorcycles for free homecoming program, both for departure and return travel to Jakarta. It serves travel to Ciamis, Kuningan, Tegal, Pekalongan, Semarang, Kebumen, Solo, Wonogiri, Jogjakarta, and Jombang.

"Currently, quota for return travel from Jogjakarta, Solo, Wonogiri, Tegal, and Pekalongan has run out," she mentioned.

One of the registrants who want to travel to Tegal, Kusnadi (43) expressed his happiness to be able to join this free homecoming program. He has also registered his wife and children.

"This is my first time to join free homecoming program. It really helps us to save on transportation cost," he said.
