Health Service for Inmates Keeps Being Maximized

In trying to optimize health service, the Jakarta Social Agency is coordinating with the Health Care and Social Security Agency’s (BPJS Kesehatan).

According to Jakarta Social Agency Head, Irmansyah, there are still a number of obstacles on its service for displaced people and inmates in hospitals.

"Solution that must be solved is the treatment time span of inmates in the hospital," he expressed, Wednesday (5/22). 

BPJS Kesehatan Jakarta Greater Direction Deputy, Ni Made Ayu Sri Ratna Sudewi expressed, according to Health Ministry Regulation No. 82/2018 on Health Insurance, rates are arranged in the form of packages.

"Indeed this is still a problem for hospitals when patients need treatment for a period," she explained.

In addition, she appreciates the Jakarta Provincial Government as one of the provinces that became a barometer for National Health Insurance (JKN) in all regions in Indonesia.

"Jakarta already has the most complete health facilities. In addition, competing specialists are also an example for other regions," he stated.
