Jakarta Council to Follow Up Proposal Regarding Four Regulation Drafts' Revisions

Jakarta Council (DPRD) to review four local regulation drafts (Raperda) which are proposed by the executive.

It will continue in the second plenary meeting

Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairman, Triwisaksana mentioned, those regulation drafts are the revision of Local Regulation (Perda) No.3/2013 about Waste Management, revision of Perda No.5/2016 about Jakarta Government Department Composition and Establishment, revision of Perda No.9/2010 about Vehicle-Ownership Transfer Fee (BBNKB) and Perda that relates with Accountability on City Budget (APBD) Implementation or P2APBD for fiscal year 2018.

"It will continue in the second plenary meeting to discuss about factions' general perspectives regarding those regulation drafts," he said, Monday (6/24).

He explained, those regulation drafts will be reviewed further by council members. Such as adding nomenclature for waste manager and community's rights written in revision of Perda No.3/2013 about waste management. Then, another proposal about organizational structure changes in SKPDs as mentioned in revision draft of Perda No. 5/2016 about Jakarta Government Department Composition and Establishment, as well as to review the revision on Perda No.9/2010 about Vehicle-Ownership Transfer Fee (BBNKB) that pointed out about adjustment for the middle percentage rate.   

"We will review all of those regulation drafts proposals," he asserted.
