In his speech, Anies expressed his gratitude for the synergy that has been built between the city government and the City DPRD thus there are many policies that can be felt by citizens.
"Let me express my highest gratitude and appreciation to the leaders and members of the council for the cooperation and support that continues to be intertwined and grow in harmony and synergy so far," he told.
On that occasion, he explains Jakarta's achievements in various fields, ranging from achievements that meet good governance and eradicating corruption until the achievements of each agency in the ranks of the city government, as well as unqualified opinion (WTP) in regional financial statements for two consecutive years.
"Thank God we was able to obtain the WTP predicate for the second year," he expressed.
There are also other achievements by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to the city government. The KPK awards three achievements for the category of Regional Government by Implementing the Best State Official Assets Report 2018; Regional Government with the Largest Value of Gratification Defined as State-Owned 2018; Regional Government with the Best Gratuity Control System 2018.
He also reveals city's breakthroughs that prosper its citizens such as Regional Expenditure Payment Service System and Tax Center via SP2D online and Real Time; Pedestrian Facilities Revitalization such as sidewalk with concept of Complete Street, crossing bridge (JPO), multipurpose crossing bridge and people's crossing tunnel.
"Another innovation is we have launched a grand design that is motion-based development paradigm City 4.0 that means city administration is a collaborator, and citizens become co-creators," he explained.
Collaboration between city and citizens is a major concern in presenting a new face of Jakarta. To advance this city, his party will not be able to work alone.
Support from the community, experts, academics and citizens are needed. However, Anies asserted, what became very important is the solid leadership in the capital city, which in the constitution mentioned included people's representatives, security institutions, and law enforcement.
"This city must belong to all, including in its management. The spirit of deliberation and representation must be revived to work together to develop the city. We also hope that synergies with the central government will continue to be strengthened," he stressed.
