Welcoming Jakarnaval, the Jakarta Transportation Agency is about to apply traffic diversion at Monas until HI Roundabout for two days, Saturday (6/29) and Sunday (6/30).
Tomorrow, closure will be set on south side of Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan
Jakarta Transportation Agency Acting Head, Sigit Wijatmoko said that gladi resik (dress rehearsal) would fall on Saturday at 3-6 PM.

During gladi resik, vehicle coming from Jalan MI Ridwan Rais towards Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan will be rerouted to Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur.
Then from north side of Jalan Merdeka Selatan towards east to west side - south side of Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan will be rerouted to Jalan Merdeka Timur or Jalan MI Ridwan Rais.
As for the traffic diversion during the event will fall on Sunday (6/30) at 3-6 PM, the closure will be applied at some points, as below:
- North and south sides of Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan (from BI Fountain Roundabout until junction of Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan with Jalan MI Ridwan Rais)
- East side of Jalan MH Thamrin (from intersection of BI Fountain Roundabout until HI Roundabout)
- Jalan Imam Bonjol (from HI Roundabout until intersection of Jalan Agus Salim)
While here are the traffic diversion that will be set, as below:
- From Jalan MI Ridwan Rais - Jalan Merdeka Selatan, will be rerouted to Jalan Merdeka Timur
- From Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat - BI Fountain Roundabout, will be directed to turn in front of Gajah Museum
- From Jalan Imam Bonjol - HI Roundabout, will be rerouted to Jalan Pamekasan
- From Jalan Wahid Hasyim on west side - Jalan MH Thamrin or Jalan Wahid Hasyim on east side, will be closed situationally (road will be re-opened after decorative vehicle parade)
- From Jalan Wahid Hasyim on east side - Jalan MH Thamrin or Jalan Wahid Hasyim on west side, will also be closed situationally
- From Jalan Kebon Sirih on west side - Jalan MH Thamrin or Jalan Kebon Sirih on east side, will be closed situationally
- From Jalan Kebon Sirih on east side - Jalan MH Thamrin or Jalan Kebon Sirih on west side, will be closed situationally
- From Jalan Budi Kemuliaan - Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat or Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan or Jalan MH Thamrin, will be closed situationally
