25,860 People Visit Nyi Ageng Serang Library Along January-June

It has been noted that as many as 25,680 people have visited the Nyi Ageng Serang Library in the Nyia Ageng Serang Building, Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Kuningan, Setiabudi along January-June 2019.

Each member can borrow two books for two weeks and can be extended only once. As for the non, can only read here

Nyi Ageng Serang Library Coordinator, Salam Natura details, from that number, 11,495 out of them are members and 14,185 others are non-members.

Nyi Ageng Serang Loksem Renovated

To be a member, every person should include Jakarta ID card or photocopy of family card for children when registering.

"So far our readers are students and other general public," he told.

The library itself has 250,000 book collections consisting of science, novels, and special collections.

"We also have special collections such as, Karya Cipta and Karya Rekam, reference books, and books about Jakarta and Betawi culture," he told.

There are various supporting facilities such as wifi, computer and discussion room.

On the other hand, Nyi Ageng Serang Library PJLP officer, Astrid Aritonang expressed, every Friday, her side has the movie special education and storytelling class for children is held every Friday to foster interest in reading from an early age. 

"We're always ready to give assistance to our visitors," she stressed.
