Tanjong Timor RPTRA Crowded with Children During School Holiday

Tanjong Timur Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RTPRA) which is located in Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands, is crowded by children and visitors during school holiday.

Tanjong Timur RPTRA Manager, Nova said, RPTRA is visited by 30-50 visitors on normal day, but it could reach almost 100 visitors per day during this school holiday. They came to spend their holiday by enjoying various facilities in this RPTRA.

Untung Jawa Island Has Smart House

"Children usually come from around 8 AM. Most of them like to go to our library, futsal field, playground and play lego," she mentioned, Saturday (7/6).

This RPTRA is opened at 6.30 AM and closed at 10 PM. She explained that her side sometimes tell story about fish and sea when she sees many children gather in RPTRA.

"Children like to listen stories especially about sea creatures," she added.

One of those children named Shafira, said that she likes to go to Rumah Baca in RPTRA to read and draw.

"This RPTRA is located near my house. I usually come here when I want to read story books or draw," she expressed.
