The Taman Ismail Marzuki Arts Center (PKJ TIM) at Jalan Cikini Raya, Menteng, Central Jakarta began to be revitalized, including its facilities namely Planetarium and Observatorium Jakarta.

TIM to See World Class Eco-friendlyTaman Ismail Marzuki Arts Center Management Unit Head, Imam Hadi Purnomo expressed that the building design is still in discussion stage between Jakarta Provincial Government with PT Jakpro and related stakeholders.
"We involve the astronomical community and the cultural heritage expert team. Nevertheless we do improvements in all things," he explained.
He furthered that the city is about to optimize the Planetarium and Observatorium Jakarta operational according to the priorities and needs of the community.
"Both will operate as usual prior to revitalization. When it begins, we adjust to the execution of the work, surely we will socialize and inform it further," he said.
