January-July, East Jakarta Has Issued 236,498 Child ID Cards

The East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency has issued 236,498 child ID cards (KIA) since January until July. From these cards, 121,021 out of them are for boys and 115,477 other cards are for girls.

To make KIA is easy, just bring your ID card photocopy, family card, marriage certificate, children's birth certificate and then submit an application through the local urban village office

"It is easy to get KIA, just bring your ID card photocopy, family card, marriage certificate, children's birth certificate and then submit an application through the local urban village office," expressed Information Data and Supervision Division Head, Ika Julaika, Thursday (7/18).

It is conducted through various activities such as, mobile service in every child-friendly integrated public space (RPTRA), mobile ID card service and jemput bola service to schools, hospitals until puskesmas.

There is also a 3-in-1 service program in three hospitals, namely Pasar Rebo, Budi Asih and Matraman hospitals.

"We make KIA and family certificates for every baby born in those hospitals," he said.
