Commemorating Field Visit 14th Global Meeting on Public Private Mix (PPM) for Tuberculosis Prevention and Care, World Health Organization (WHO) representatives visit Setiabudi Puskesmas, South Jakarta on Friday (7/19).
In this visit, they want to know about development of PPM TB program implementation in Jakarta
There are 14 WHO representatives from various countries who are welcomed by Health Ministry's Tuberculosis Sub-directorate representative, Sulistyo; South Jakarta Health Sub-department, Disease Prevention and Controlling Section Head, Komarunisa; and Setiabudi Kelompok Masyarakat Peduli Tuberkulosis (KMP TB) Leader, Haryanto.
Kramat Jati Puskesmas Visited By 15 WHO Representatives"In this visit, they want to know about development of PPM TB program implementation in Jakarta. We inform them about internal network and external tuberculosis mechanism which are implemented in Setiabudi Puskesmas," explained Komarunisa.
Setiabudi Puskesmas collaborates with PKK cadres, Posyandu, and environmental stakeholders to build a community named Komunitas Masyarakat Peduli Tuberkulosis (KMP TB) that socializes and educates the locals about Tuberculosis (TB) disease.
One of WHO representatives, Alan Fabela from Philippines stated, Setiabudi Puskesmas has very well organized facilities and activities.
Other representative named Khawaja Haeed Ahmaij from Pakistan also gives positive response. According to him, Setiabudi Puskesmas's PPM section is capable in providing significant TB early prevention information by collaborating with the locals.
"Great session! I learned a lot, keep the great collaboration with the community," he added.
