Officers of Jakarta Environment Agency’s Water Agency Zone Management Unit (UPK) cleaned a connecting channel in Tegal Alur Public Cemetery (TPU), Kalideres. 

We managed to transport 60 cubic meters of garbage and weeds from the channel

According to Deni Setiawan, cleaning supervisor for Water Agency UPK, those personnel were PPSU, Water Resources Sub-agency, Environment Sub-agency and Forestry Sub-agency.

"We managed to transport 60 cubic meters of garbage and weeds from the channel," he expressed, Sunday (7/21).

Aside that, his side held socialization to the public in reducing beverage bottles.

"Personnel don't carry bottled water, but instead tumblers," he stated.
