South Jakarta Mosque Caretakers Educated Qurban Slaughtering

This only lasts for one full day

The South Jakarta mosque caretakers are educated and socialized on Jakarta Governor Instruction No. 4/2019 about Qurban Animal Slaughtering in Eid al-Adha 1440 Hijri.

Its socialization educates about principles of slaughtering and managing meat of qurban animals by presenting instructors of veterinary Medicine Faculty, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB)

"This only lasts for one full day," said South Jakarta Economy and Development Assistant, Mukhlisin when he opened the socialization at the BPP Ragunan Harvest Building, Pasar Minggu Sub-district, South Jakarta, Monday (7/29).

South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency Head, Wachyuni added that it is participated by 100 people who received aid in the form of slaughtering facilities in the form of knives and tarps.

"They will also attend in the launching of healthy qurban animals with the governor at Jakarta Islamic Center, North Jakarta tomorrow," he told.

One of the participants from At-Taufiq Mosque, Muhammad Mugni admitted that he is very grateful to be able to take part in socialization that teaches the mechanism of selecting, cutting and managing qurban animals.

"Previously, I had never attended a training like this, it was very useful and can improve my knowledge," he exclaimed.
