Jakarta Vice Governor Basuki T Purnama asks for help to an independent team to investigate the cause of the collapsed facade of City Hall Block G building that happened on Thursday (8/28) afternoon. According to Basuki, PT Jaya Konstruksi as the party that installed the facade is ready to fully responsible on the damages caused by the collapsed facade.
“PT Jaya Konstruksi guarantees to repair everything and pays for the damages caused by the collapsed facade.
In addition, Basuki also asks for other buildings that used the same facade to be checked as well. That includes Jakarta Parliament (DPRD) building.
“If the investigation result said the facades in other buildings were not safe, they will be removed immediately so they won’t jeopardize people,” he asserted.
