Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishub) wants to optimize electric public transport usage in Jakarta. It is done as an effort to improve air quality in Jakarta.

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo conveyed, PT. Transjakarta currently tries to operate three electric buses with different sizes in Jakarta.

In this trial, there are several things need to be considered for operating electric buses such as to build charging station that is easy to be reached and ensure bus electric power is enough to achieve bus service target in a day.
