207 Qurban Animals Inspectors Deployed in East Jakarta

Today in East Jakarta Mayor Office's Yard, Muhammad Anwar, East Jakarta Mayor, sent 207 personnel to check qurban animals health and qurban meat by symbolically giving them ID cards.

We deploy these personnel in 10 sub-districts to check qurban animals health and examine qurban meat during Eid al-Adha period

Besides ID cards, personnel are also equipped with boots, knife, and crystal or knife grinder to take sample of qurban meat.

"We deploy these personnel in 10 sub-districts to check qurban animals health and examine qurban meat during Eid al-Adha period," he explained, Monday (8/5).

East Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP)'s Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Section Head, Irma Budiany informed, total 85 personnel from East Jakarta KPKP Sub-department, 24 personnel from Jakarta KPKP Department, 72 students from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB)'s Veterinary Medicine Faculty, 17 personnel from Indonesian Veterinarian Association, and 9 personnel from Ministry of Agriculture.

"They will work from Eid al-Adha until D+3 of Eid," she mentioned.
