1,600 Elementary Students Campaigned to Love Eating Fish

As many as 1,600 elementary students are campaigned to love eating fish in the Cilangkap Tourism Agro Garden, Cipayung, East Jakarta. It will be held until tomorrow, Wednesday (7/8).

Teacher will educate them about the importance of eating f ish from an early age

On the first day, it is participated by 800 students from SDN Bambu Apus 04, SDN Cilangkap 03 and SDN Pondok Ranggon 01. On the second day or tomorrow, it will be participated from students of SDN Cipayung 01, 02, 03 and 04.

"Teacher will educate them about the importance of eating fish from an early age," said Cipayung Sub-district Head, Wawa Kartiwa, Tuesday (8/6). 

He expects those students love to eat fish to be a strong and intelligent generation.

East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency Head, Supriyadi Saleh said that Cilangkap Tourism Agro Garden was chosen, as the yard is wide and open green and strategic location.

During the event, students also get five types of processed foods made from fish. "They are fish m eatballs, ebi katsu, ebi furai, fish dumplings and fish nuggets," he stated.
