Kebon Jeruk Water Resources (SDA) Unit deployed 15 personnel to dredge mud from water channel at RT 03/12 settlement, Duri Kepa Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk on Tuesday (8/6).

We want to add its capacity by dredging the mud

Kebon Jeruk SDA Unit Head, Nurdin mentioned, this channel has 300 meters length with 60 centimeters wide. Since early August, his side has dredged around 50 cubic meters mud.

"We want to add its capacity by dredging the mud. Thus later this channel can be functioned optimally to prevent inundation," he stated.

He informed, this location is prone to inundation. He reminds local residents to maintain it clean thus when the rain falls, water can flow optimally.
