North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department cleans up Kelapa Hibrida Connecting Channel (PHB), Pegangsaan Dua, Kelapa Gading since yesterday. This work is targeting to finish within two weeks.
IPAL Damaged, Mudflow on Pramuka Island Dredged
Kelapa Gading SDA Sub-department Head, Rukmana informed, currently this PHB channel has 1 meter depth with 6 meters wide and 1,200 meters long.
"We use excavator to dredge it and 5 dump trucks to transport the mud," he added, Wednesday (7/31).
His side plans to add its depth up to 1.5 meters. Thus inundation can be prevented in area near Kelapa Hibrida during rainy season.
