"Get real, (work on project) in other people's area. I ask for the project to be stopped. Or else, I will ask Satpol PP to stop it," stated East Jakarta Administration Assistant for Development Environment, Andri Yansah, Sunday (8/31).
According to Andri, his party has asked the project implementer not to do any activity before there is clarity on papers and requirements.
Eroded by Rain, KBT Bank Collapsed"Bring the papers on Monday (9/1)," he asserted.
Menawhile, Head of Pondok Kopi Urban Village, Panangaran Ritonga, had in quarrels with the project workers in the field. Besides his party was not informed about the project, the project is worried could damage the facilities in that location.
"I don't want any mistake, especially damaging the fences or cutting trees," he uttered.
Moreover, as a field handling effort, Ritonga told that he will send a letter to local sub-district head which will be carbon copied to KBT Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) and East Jakarta Water Management Public Works Sub-Department.
"Yes, cannot do work haphazardly in someone else's area," he stressed.
Based on the information gathered, this Bekasi waterway-KBT project was said to be Public Works Ministry's. The project will stretch from Bintara to KBT, which means that it is a cross-region between West Java and Jakarta.
On the other hand, the management of KBT, as Jakarta's flood handling channel, cannot be haphazardly used as an accommodation. Thus, KBT's main function would not be disturbed.
When beritajakarta.com visited the project location, there was a heavy equipment parked in the middle of the park in Pondok Kopi Urban Village, Duren Sawit Sub-District. Besides the park's fence, there were also trees and stret light utilities spotted there.
