40 Damaged Bus Stops in West Jakarta Repaired

To provide comfort for public transportation users, West Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department is repairing damaged bus stops in its jurisdiction. It is recorded there are about 400 damaged bus stops, but 40 of them have been repaired.

“This year there are about 40 bus stops which we painted and replaced their canopy parts, such as the ones located on Jalan Outer Ring Road Cengkareng, Pasar Hipli Kalideres, and Persaki Cengkareng,” told Head of West Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department Traffic Management Section, Herlambang, Sunday (8/31).
For damaged bus stops on protocol roads such as on Jalan Daan Mogot, Jalan S Parman, Jalan Panjang, and at traffic light Cengkareng, Herlambang said that it is the responsibility of Jakarta Transportation Department to repair and maintain them.

About the bus stop at traffic light Cengkareng, based on beritajakarta.com observations, its condition is very poor with roof parts detached. This condition has been going on for two years.
