550 Youths Participated at Jambore Pemuda Daerah Jakarta 2019

Jakarta Youth and Sport Department (Dispora) Head, Achmad Firdaus informed to hold Jambore Pemuda Daerah Provinsi DKI Jakarta 2019 at Grand Cempaka Resort, Bogor, West Jakarta, on August 23-25. This event is participated by 550 youths representatives from all Jakarta regions consist of 500 youths from 5 administrative cities and 50 youths from Thousand Islands Regency.

"Jambore Pemuda Daerah DKI Jakarta is held to unite all youths in Jakarta. We expect this event to strengthen relationship, communication, and cooperative network between youths," he explained, Saturday (8/24).

This event will be enlivened with workshop and competitions to explore potentials of the participants. But it will be focus on introducing Jakarta's original cultural arts. His side invites speakers from Indonesian National Youth Committee, Jakarta's National and Political Unity Agency (Kesbangpol), Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department (Disparbud), Jayakarta College Student Regiment (Menwa), Betawi Culture Institution, Purna Paskibraka Indonesia, Indonesian Traditional Sport Committee, Pemuda Pelopor Nasional, and Rumah Cinta Belanegara.

"Besides, we will select several participants to participate at national level of Jambore Pemuda Indonesia," he added.

Through cultural interaction, his side expects this event to encourage the young generations to develop their potentials and talents.

"Competition at national level is very hard and strict. Don't be satisfied with what we are achieving right now, because there will be many challenges in the future," he asserted.
