Next Friday, Central Jakarta to Hold Flona 2019 at Lapangan Banteng

Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-department raises 'Metamorphosis' concept in current year Flora and Fauna (Flona) event held at Lapangan Banteng Park, on next Friday (9/6).

Central Jakarta has its own theme, 'Metamorphosis', that is considered matching with the New Face of Jakarta

Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-department Head, Mila Ananda conveyed, this concept is in accordance with Jakarta Government's great theme for Flona 2019, 'My Green Jakarta'.

"Central Jakarta has its own theme, 'Metamorphosis', that is considered matching with the New Face of Jakarta. Metamorphosis is a transition process from imperfect into perfect," she stated, Tuesday (8/27).

City Eyes Sansevieria Planting to Curb Pollution Crisis

In this event, her side has preperad various ornamental plants especially those that can absorb pollution.

"We have thousands of ornamental plants and flowers, Instagramable spots, children playground, and vertical garden. Current progress of its construction has reached 50 percent." she informed.

Flona 2019 will be held for a month. Each Jakarta regions will be also compete to create the most beautiful decoration.

"Jakarta Forestry Department instructs each regions to decorate several areas based on their own characteristic. The winner will get an award," she added.
