Jakarta Provincial Government and Biodiversity Foundation (Kehati) will collaborate on biological mapping, either flora or fauna in Jakarta.

City Deputy for Spatial Planning and Environment, Oswar Mungkasa said that his side is currently preparing the memorandum of understanding (MoU) and the biological mapping work plan.

He explained that it will be carried out various steps starting from protection, breeding of flora and fauna.
"Not only that, we also need to educate the public about the biodiversity in Jakarta," he explained.
Kehati Foundation Executive Director, Riki Frindos uttered that the city government, in this matter, the Environment Dept. and his side also plans to update biological data, either fauna or flora in Jakarta. In addition, his party and the city government will also hold a biodiversity photo competition and publish a photographic book.
"In the near future, we and Environment Dept. will invest in biodiversity databases while updating the data," he said.
