Thousand Islands Regency together with Home Affairs Ministry conducts study related to disaster management at Regency office, Pramuka Island, North Thousand Islands.

"It is an early anticipation. We hope Thousand Islands government and residents can be more responsive and alert towards tornado and other natural disasters that could be happened in Thousand Islands," conveyed Iwan P. Samosir, Thousand Islands Assistant for Economy and Development, Thursday (8/29).
Through this study, Home Affairs Ministry's Regional Administration Research and Development Center, Village Government and Population Head, Kurniasih mentioned, her side and Thousand Islands Regency will use it to inventory government needs to anticipate disasters.
