This year, Ikatan Penerbit Indonesia (IKAPI) returns to hold Indonesia International Book Fair (IIBF) on September 4-8, 2019 at Hall A of Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Gelora, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

IIBF is an annual event held by IKAPI since 1980

"IIBF is an annual event held by IKAPI since 1980 with former name of Indonesia Book Fair (IBF)," mentioned Rosidayati Rozalina, IKAPI Chairperson, Monday (9/2).

Her side had expanded IBF scale from national to international in the middle of preparing Indonesia to be the guest of honor in Frankfurt Book Fair 2015. After that, IBF turns into IIBF or Indonesia International Book Fair.

Moreover in this event, her side will hold Indonesia Partnership Program (IPP) which is supported by Indonesian Agency for Creative Economy (BEKRAF) with total 38 participants from 14 countries to join IPP.

"Through IPP, IIBF is not only promoting books from publisher, but also become the copyright translation transaction center from Indonesian publisher to the international," she explained.

Meanwhile, IIBF 2019 Committee Chairman, Djadja Subagja conveyed, his side provides Crazy Zone where books are sold with huge discount.
