Humboldt University Delegation Appreciates Job Training for Disabled

Humboldt University of Berlin Delegation, Prof. Michael Wall, very appreciated the job training for persons with disabilities held by Jakarta Provincial Government after visiting the North Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD), Jalan Gereja Tugu Semper, Semper Barat Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta, on Thursday (9/5).

Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Agency Head, Andri Yansyah said that his party continues in its efforts to help the empowerment of disabled people, ranging from training to job placement.

185 Disabled People Facilitated to Get Employed

"For job placement, we have cooperated with the government agencies and private companies," he explained.

In 2020, all training participants would be included in the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan covered by the government.

"In Germany, everything is handed over to the private sector and paid according to the ability of its citizens," he stated.
