This Week, Bike and Ride Facility at Tanjung Priok Terminal Planned to Complete

Bike and Ride construction at Tanjung Priok Terminal, North Jakarta, is targeted to finish this week.

Hopefully its construction can be finished in this week

Tanjung Priok Terminal Head, Mulya stated, his side uses 200 meters sidewalk from entrance gate of city bus area, Transjakarta bus shelter, and intercity interprovince (AKAP) bus arrival area for Bike and Ride facility. Sidewalk is divided into two lanes for pedestrian and cyclists. For pedestrian will be painted green while blue for bike lane.

"Hopefully its construction can be finished in this week. It is one of our efforts to encourage people to use bike as their daily transport," he mentioned, Thursday (9/5).

New Bike Lane for Jakartans in Kampung Melayu Terminal

His side provides bike parking with parking rack in front of terminal office. One personnel will be deployed to secure the bike parking area.

Near this facility, his side also beautifies it by planting several ornamental plants in pots to reduce air pollution.

"This Ride and Park facility is given for free. People can park their bike in terminal before going and return to this place again to take their bike," he added.
