PT MRT Jakarta invites people to donate their books in Jakarta MRT stations through a program called #RuangBacaJakarta.
The donated book will be placed on shelves in every MRT stations.
MRT Jakarta to Equip Several Stations with Book Corner"We provide a box for people donating their book. It will be there until next month," said William Sabandar, PT MRT Jakarta Director at Lebak Bulus MRT Station, Sunday (9/8).
According to him, his side has prepared book collection at paid area of HI Roundabout and Lebak Bulus stations. Passengers are able to borrow the book for their trip to their destination. The book must be returned to the shelf right after the passengers have arrived in their destination.
"The book can be borrow during the trip with MRT only," he added.
He suggests people for donating light or thin book to be read in short time.
"Reading duration should be 30 minutes only," he closed.
