Police Have Fined 153 Cars Since Odd-even Expansion Today

From the raid at 6 AM to 10 AM, the officers confiscated 122 driver licenses (SIM) and 31 vehicle registration certificates (STNK)

As many as 153 cars were netted by the officers of West Jakarta Resort Police Traffic Unit from Jalan Pintu Air Selatan, Jalan Gajah Mada, Jalan Hayam Wuruk, intersection of Tomang and Jalan S Parman, on Monday (9/9).

"From the raid at 6 AM to 10 AM, the officers confiscated 122 driver licenses (SIM) and 31 vehicle registration certificates (STNK)," said West Jakarta Resort Police Traffic Unit, Comr. Hari Admoko.

In the meantime, West Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Leo Amstrong said, before the expanded odd-even policy is applied, the police had held socialization for a full month.

"By so, we hope that actions taken will continue to decrease the following day and private vehicle users can switch to public transportation," he hoped.
