Six New Green Parks Development in East Jakarta Completed

East Jakarta Forestry Sub-agency Head, Aris Firmansyah reported that the development of six green open spaces or called Taman Maju Bersama in East Jakarta has finally been completed.

Although it is not inaugurated yet, he stated, the locals have enjoyed them for various activities such as exercise, gathering with family or friends, etc.

He explained that the average park development takes less than three to four months. The park is equipped with a garden, a children's playground, a jogging track and a multipurpose room.

Jakarta to Have 53 Green Parks

"Citizens can use these facilities for activities," he stated, Thursday (9/12).

The park itself is located on Jalan Al Umar II Lubang Buaya, Cipayung (park as wide as 3,145 square meters), Jalan Sepakat, Kelapa Dua Wetan Ciracas (park as wide as 1,637 square meters), Jalan Lapangan Tembak Cibubur (park as wide as 3,841 square meters and Jalan Pondok Kelapa (park as wide as 2,492 square meters).

There are also located on Jalan Bampu Apus (park as wide as 6,140 square meters and Jalan PPA Depsos Bambu Apus (park as wide as 3,104 square meters.

"I also reminded citizens to always take care and maintain the park facilities," he stressed.
