Daniel and Abdullah Happy to Eat Together with Jakarta Governor

This Saturday (9/14), Jakarta Government held Lebaran Yatim 1441 Hijri together with 400 orphans at Lagoon Beach, Ancol, North Jakarta.

I am happy to have a chance to eat together and have a picnic in Dufan with Mr. Governor

Daniel (13), orphan from an orphanage in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, conveyed his happiness to eat and have a trip together with Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan in Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), Ancol, North Jakarta.

"I am happy to have a chance to eat together and have a picnic in Dufan with Mr. Governor. This is also my first time to try Kora Kora," he expressed.

Meeting Orphans, Anies and His Wife Go Cycling to Lagoon Beach

Meanwhile the other orphan, Abdullah who is in the 1st grade of SMPN 1 Cengkareng said Lebaran Anak Yatim event gives him a great moment in his life.

"I am so happy because today I can explore Dufan and eat together with famous people. Next, I want to try Rumah Hantu and Kora Kora," he said.

Mentor from Al Islam Barokah Foundation, Matraman, East Jakarta, Siti Nurhayatin (36) conveyed, 12 foster children who are invited in this event are excited for today's activities.

"I hope this program can be continued. Thank you Jakarta Government for also giving donation in form of savings for our children in Bank DKI," she said.
