Thousand Islands Regency reviews JakGrosir development in North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

Ideally, JakGrosir in Tidung is only for merchants in South Thousand Islands

In order to speed up equalization of price commodities in Thousand Islands and Jakarta, Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad conveyed, JakGrosir is ideally to be built in each regions thus merchants are able to reach it with small cost.

"Ideally, JakGrosir in Tidung is only for merchants in South Thousand Islands. Thus it needs the other one that can accommodate merchants in North Thousand Islands," he assessed, Monday (9/23).

Commodity Prices in Tidung Island JakGrosir Ensured to Remain Affordable

According to him, JakGrosir that is recently built in Tidung Kecil Island facilitates South Thousand Islands wholesalers who live on Untung Jawa Islands, Tidung Island, Pari Island, and Lancang Island.

Meanwhile, it is too far for residents or wholesalers who live in Kelapa island, Harapan island, Panggang Island, and Pramuka Island which are located in North Thousand Islands to reach it. Since its problem is in transportation, his side will continue reviewing it, especially related to its location and land availability to build JakGrosir in North Thousand Islands.

"Besides, we will also review Karya Island further since it is located on the middle of Thousand Islands," he added.
