PKT Training Given to 80 Panggang Island Residents

Thousand Islands Regency holds Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) training for 80 residents of Panggang Island Urban Village at Balai Taman Nasional Office's hall, Pramuka Island, North Thousand Islands.

In this activity, participants will be taught about business introduction and how to build mindset for the new businessmen

Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad mentioned, this training is held thus people can open job opportunities for himself and the others. While it is government's job to provide training, coaching, and capital.

"Thousand Islands as a tourist site should be used well for business opportunity in order to improve resident's welfare and boost local's economy," he conveyed, Tuesday (10/1).

40 PKT Members Facilitated to Join Job Fair

UKT 2 Head, Sofyan stated, PKT training starts todau until Wednesday (10/2).

He mentioned PKT's participants are mostly seaweed farmers, handcrafters, food and beverage merchants, convection business owners, and home industry owners from Panggang Island and Pramuka Island.

"In this activity, participants will be taught about business introduction and how to build mindset for the new businessmen," he stated.

Buniarsih (52), RT 01/01 Panggang Island Urban Vilage resident who works as seaweed farmes stated this training facilitates his side in marketing and obtaining capital.

"I have run my own business but I hope with joining this training I can get experience and solution related capital and product marketing," he conveyed.
