Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Department has installed 102 closed circuit television (CCTV) units in 100 locations in Jakarta, including stationer pump house, sluice gate, and large river headwaters observation post.

Jakarta SDA Department's Administration of Data Management and Information Unit (UPDI) Sub-division Head, Gde Made Panji Diarsa stated, all rivers in Jakarta own large river headwater observation post equipped with CCTV. For example is at headwaters of Katulampa, Panus Depok Bridge, Pesanggrahan River, Krukut River, and Cipinang River.
"Complete set of CCTV installed in each locations, consisting pole, transmitter, network, lightning rod, and panel box. Especially for Manggarai Sluice Gate and Pluit Reservoir, we install two CCTV units," he explained, Thursday (10/3).

"We use IP CCTV that supports remote operation, infrared technology, then we can also adjust its display direction, zoom out and zoom in. We operate it from our central command room," he said.
According to him, 15 of 102 CCTVs which are procured through City Budget (APBD) 2019 have been installed.
"Those CCTVs are very useful for security and ease the supervision," he closed.
