As many as three RWs in two sub-districts in North Jakarta has formed an Environmental Fire Safety System (SKKL) initiated by the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency.

"This aims to provide skills and knowledge on how to deal with fires, thus they can handle it as early as possible," said North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Satriadi Gunawan, Monday (10/7).
In each RW, it is participated by 40 people consisting of public figures, RT/RW caretakers, Dasa Wisma and karang taruna youth organization members. In addition, they are also trained to share tasks when fire occurs.
"Our hope is we can form more SKKL in a bid to minimize the incidence and impact of losses caused," he stated.
