North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept. has formed the Environmental Fire Safety System (SKKL) in fire-prone areas.
Satriadi Gunawan, Head of North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept. said, SKKL is important to minimize fire case in North Jakarta.

This year, 6 SKKLs will be formed at fire-prone areas. As the initial stage, it will be formed at two RWs in 2 sub-districts, namely RW 02, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading Sub-district and RW 07, Pademangan Barat Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district.
"Previously we gave training to the people how to use fire protection equipment in RW," he expressed.
Hence, his sub-dept. has prepared fire protection facilities such as portable fire extinguisher (APAR) and portable pump in order to facilitate and speed up extinguishing the flames.
"Through SKKL, it is hoped able to minimize fire case in North Jakarta," he hoped.
