4,000 Mangrove Seeds Planted at Tidung Kecil Island

Commemorating the 74th Anniversary of Indonesian Army (TNI), South Jakarta Regency and Hydrography and Oceanography Center of Indonesian Navy (Pushidrosal) plant 4,000 mangrove seeds on the north coastal area of Tidung Kecil Island, South Thousand Islands.

I convey my gratitude to Indonesian Navy

Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad expected, planting mangrove seeds can preserve the nature and save Tidung Kecil Island from abrasion.

"I convey my gratitude to Indonesian Navy. Hopefully similar events in the future are not only done in Tidung Kecil Island, but also other islands to prevent abrasion," he conveyed, Monday (10/7).

Meanwhile, Pushidrosal Inspector, Navy Colonel Syahbudi stated, planting mangrove seeds is a part of TNI's 74th Anniversary commemoration that is done simultaneously by all navy corps in Indonesia. Moreover his side also involves students in this event.

"For this event, we invite SMKN 61 Jakarta students  in this event to educate them to take a part in preserving our nature," he asserted.
