Kemayoran Urban Forest Revitalization Targeted to Complete in November

Jakarta Provincial Government is targeting to finish revitalization on Kemayoran Urban Forest, Central Jakarta, by the end of this November.

There will be many facilities in there

In this revitalization, Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah mentioned, his side will equip this 22.3 hectares land with various facilities such as public toilets, plaza, and floating stage.

"There will be many facilities in there. We will combine forest path with mangrove plants thus later it can be a tourist attraction spot," she conveyed, Wednesday (10/2).

Kemayoran Urban Forest, he continued, could be used as alternative location for people to exercise since it will be equipped with jogging track.

"It could be an interactive space, recreation area, or sport area," he added.

For information, Jakarta Government has targeted to add more green open spaces (RTH)s with total around 47 hectares in 2018.

"This year, we are targeting to add RTH around 42 hectares," he asserted.
