Perumda Pasar Jaya Plans to Build Two Indiskop Cinemas in Central Jakarta

After launching Indiskop at Teluk Gong Market, Jalan Teluk Gong, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Perumda Pasar Jaya plans to build cinema similar to Indiskop in two traditional markets in Central Jakarta.

First, we will review Kenari Market at Senen Sub-district and Baru Market at Sawah Besar Sub-district, Central Jakarta

Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Arief Nasrudin mentioned, those traditional markets are Kenari Market and Baru Market in Central Jakarta. Those locations are considered strategic for building cinema.

"First, we will review Kenari Market at Senen Sub-district and Baru Market at Sawah Besar Sub-district, Central Jakarta as instructed by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan," he stated, Wednesday (10/9).

According to him, this cinema is expected to give opportunity for middle-class society to watch movies in affordable price as well as to give wider access for common people to enjoy Indonesian films.

"As in Teluk Gong, we also plan to collaborate with UKMs for facilities that can be used to sell their products," he mentioned.
