Transjakarta Diverts Several Routes Today

City bus operator PT Transportasi Jakarta or Transjakarta has diverted its routes since 7 AM today, following the students’ protest around the Patung Kuda's Traffic Light towards Blok M.

Corridor 2 (Harmoni-Pulogadug) had to be diverted due to road closure around Patung Kuda

PT Transjakarta's Corporation and Public Relations Secretary Division Head Nadia Diposanjoyo said route closure applies in the corridor 1. While the route 1A (PIK-City Hal) had to be shortened to PIK-Harmoni.

"Corridor 2 (Harmoni-Pulogadug) had to be diverted due to road closure around Patung Kuda. The bus won't serve the Monas Bus Stop until the Gambir 2 Bus Stop," she expressed, Thursday (10/10).

Similar action is also spotted at corridor 2 A (Kalideres-Pulogadung). The bus will not serve the Monas Bus Stop until the Gambir 2 Bus Stop.

"We also apply it in the route MRT DA 4 (MRT Dukuh Atas Station-Kota) and vice versa. The bus only serves the Bank Indonesia, Monas, RRI and Majapahit bus stops," he told.

There are also several routes that are shortened, starting from route 6A (Ragunan-Monas) via Kuningan from Ragunan-Bank Indonesia, route 6B (Ragunan-Monas) via Semanggi from Ragunan-Bank Indonesia, route 7F (Harmoni-Kampung Rambutan) whereby the bus will not serve the Monas Bus Stop until Gambir 2 Bus Stop.

"But it does not apply to the route BRT and non-BRT, as well as Mikrotrans. They remain serve the customer as usual," she told.
