During CFD, Sudinhub Sterilizes Transjakarta Busway in Mampang

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-department (Sudinhub) with help from Satpol PP and Police sterilized Transjakarta busway from pedestrian and cyclists on Car Free Day (CFD) held on Jalan Mampang Prapatan-Jalan Warung Jati Barat.

South Jakarta Sudinhub Head, Christianto mentioned, his side installed 10 banners on the right and left sides of Transjakarta busway in CFD area which inform that cyclists and pedestrians are not allowed to use busway lane during CFD.

"We deploy 50 personnel to remind all cyclists and pedestrian for not using Transjakarta busway," he explained, Sunday (10/6).

According to him, busway needs to be sterilized because Transjakarta bus now operates during CFD.

In this chance, South Jakarta Mayor, Marullah Matali encouraged all CFD participants to help officers on the field by not using Transjakarta busway.

"I want to remind that during CFD, Transjakarta busway is open for service. Let us sterilize the Transjakarta busway together," he asserted.

One of the CFD participants from Duren Tiga, Titi (35) supported Transjakarta busway sterilization in CFD area. This sterilization, she assessed, is needed to ensure safety for all pedestrians and cyclists.

"Socialization is needed in order to make us safer. This is for our safety too," she mentioned.
