Bina Marga Improves 14 Sidewalks in Central Jakarta

Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-department's project to improve quality of 14 sidewalks in Central Jakarta has reached 70 percent.

Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-department Head, Rakim Sastranegara explained, those sidewalks are located on Jalan Tanah Abang with length 2,050 meters; Jalan Musi as long as 1,025 meters; Jalan Biak as long as 1,055 meters; Jalan Stasiun Senen as long as 1,300 meters; Jalan Cempaka Putih Barat 26 as long as 2,147 meters.
Next, Jalan Pangeran Jayakarta as long as 2,788 meters; Jalan Dr. Soetomo as long as 437 meters; Jalan Tiangseng as long as 745 meters; Jalan Veteran II as long as 1,069 meters; continuation of sidewalk on Jalan Karang Anyar as long as 375 meters; continuation of sidewalk on Jalan KH Hasyim Ashari as long as 150 meters; Jalan Kodam Raya 1,081 meters; Jalan Howitzer 1,525 meters; and Jalan Sumur Batu as long as 667 meters.
Bina Marga Unit Repairs Sidewalk on Jl. Galunggung Setiabudi"We have started this project since July 2019," he informed, Thursday (10/10).
By improving those sidewalks, his side hopes pedestrians, especially those with disabilities, can use this sidewalk more comfortably and safely.
"We also equipped those sidewalks with guidance for people with disabilities. Also bench, bollar, and utility box. Our target is to complete this project in December 2019," he said.
