Mothers in North Jakarta Trained to Become New Entrepreneurs

Those mothers from six sub-districts are trained to make a variety of processed cakes

The North Jakarta Social Sub-agency continues to boost economic growth for underprivileged families from the end of September to the middle of October that has trained 500 mothers to become new entrepreneurs.

July-October 2019, 700 West Jakartans Participated PKT Programs

"Those mothers from six sub-districts are trained to make a variety of processed cakes. We hope it can become their business," expressed North Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Aji Antoko, Wednesday (10/16).

The training itself is held for three days. Besides making wet cake techniques such as cakes, they are also motivated to develop a business and access capital.

After this training, they received a baking cooking equipment such as a blender, an oven, a mixer and two basin units. For the post-training supervision and coaching process, the Social Agency also prepared two assistants in each city.

"This is the second year of implementation. We directed these participants to make a joint business group and some continued to join the PKT in other SKPDs," he stated.
